It's songs, re-recorded, sometimes by an orchestra, most generally sung in bars or nightclubs. Some company's can buy rights to original recording tracks that include everything but the vocals. How is that? Because song recordings are recorded on multiple tracks, therefore allowing the producer to included or exclude certain tracks. By removing the vocals, you get to sing to an original recording. Pretty cool huh?
